House of the Dead 2, The (2006) (CD) [English] [Grabit re-release]

    This is a 2006 re-release of "The House of the Dead 2" for Windows,
an on-rails first person shooter game which was originally released for
the Sega NAOMI arcade platform in November 1998 and later ported to PC
in a 2001 release by Empire Interactive.
    This particular edition was released on Empire's 'Grabit' label in
a slim jewel case and does not include a paper manual, only a PDF copy
bundled on-disc in the 'manuals' folder, along with Acrobat Reader and
DirectX 7.

    INSTALLATION NOTES
===================================
    I was able to install and run this release on Windows 10 1909 x64
without issue; however, do note that the game can be finicky with multi
monitor setups, so I would recommend only having one monitor active
when running the game. (This could also be caused by the fact that my
primary / leftmost monitor in Windows is physically the second monitor;
your mileage may vary.)
    You may need to install the Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime from
<https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35>.
    Simply run SETUP.EXE on the disk root and go through the setup as
normal; launch from the Start menu: "SEGA" -> "THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2"
